Overview:
Topgolf is searching for Golf Instructor Interns for an unmatched experience this summer 2024! What You'll DoA Topgolf Coach intern will help manage and maintain several of our key programs while learning essential skills to advance their knowledge of the golf business.
Each intern will report directly to a Director of Instruction.
This position includes, but is not limited to, coaching in our Summer Academy, training new Topgolf Associates, and assisting in out Topgolf Coach Classes.
A Topgolf Coach intern will also assist the Golf Services Manager in any Golf Services related tasks.

Responsibilities:
How You'll Do ItAssist, teach and help manage our extremely successful Summer Academy program (our flagship Junior program for 8 to 12 weeks)Assist in club repair of all loaner clubsEnhance the Guest experience by giving out instruction tips to our Guests during peak times for the purpose of promoting and selling Topgolf CoachTrain new Topgolf Associates on basics of teaching and general knowledge of golfHelp with student and lead maintenance using our Customer Relationship Management toolWhat You'll GainGolf instruction knowledge through our development program and golf lesson shadowingAbility to teach class lessonsWorking knowledge of lesson analysis software/appManagement of a CRM (customer relationship management) toolHow to structure a golf lessonSales excellence and student retention techniquesClub repairKey
Qualifications:
What We're Looking For Preferred:
Enrolled in a Professional Golf Management (PGM) programPrevious competitive golf participantKnowledge of golf instruction and experience preferredPrevious work experience in the golf industryRequired:
Energy and enthusiasmExcellent communication, time management and organization skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work on a teamA high level of self-awareness, receptivity to change and integrityAbility to work in extreme weather conditions for extended periods of timeAvailability to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to stand and walk for long periods of time including maneuvering up and down stairsAbility to obtain required licenses and certifications for your locationAbility to lift items weighing up to 50 lb.
