Accounting Specialist III
Accounting Specialist IIIWe are seeking an Accounting Specialist III to perform a variety of general accounting support tasks in our East Central accounting department.
What You'll Do:
You will prep recurring and non-recurring journal entries for month end close.
You'll complete schedules needed for completion of account reconciliations.
You will perform monthly analysis of revenue and expense variances to budget.
You'll be responsible for reviewing transactions to ensure proper general ledger coding, supporting documentation and approval.
You'll perform ad hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned or required.
What You'll Need:
1 - 2 years of progressive and relevant accounting experience.
Accounting degree preferred, or a combination of education and work experience.
10-key by touch required.
Intermediate knowledge on all Microsoft Office software products required.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail required and ability to work with different departments within the organization.
Experience in business accounting software such as Oracle, Hyperion and SAP helpful.
