Position Summary
This individual will be responsible for managing and developing customers in the assigned geography while achieving sales quota for the Drives and Systems business. Typical territory can be 5 to 7 states.
Essential Job Functions
Create, maintain and achieve regional sales plan objectives. Recruitment, development and management of sales channels (reps, distributors, integrators) for the Drive Systems business. Create sales programs particular to the region of responsibility. Develop and maintain contact with key customers on an ongoing basis and develop major customer proposals and business activity. Work with Marketing Team to execute marketing programs, staff trade shows and perform lead follow-up Feedback customer needs to R&D for new product developments.
Key Performance Metrics:
Achieve assigned sales quota for Drive Systems Division. Develop new customers and maintain existing accounts. Accomplish key MBO's concerning new product and market specific programs. Help define new product requirements for territory. Maintain account information and proposals in CRM system. Maintain funnel of opportunities.
Learning Period
1-3 months - Basic training On the job self-learning
Working Conditions
Home-office located in Independence, OH Travel up to 50% in an assigned territory
Education/License Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred Associates degree and/or job experience would be considered

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
