Airgas is organized into four Divisions.
The North Division Business Support Center (BSC) provides accounting support and administrative functions at Division offices in Independence, Ohio.
We are seeking a dynamic, driven; results oriented individual with career management experience and the leadership spirit to directly supervise the cash applications staff.
This position will also include the responsibility for analytical reporting, training and assigned projects.
Requirements:
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in cash applications with at least two (2) years supervisory experience.
High School Diploma or equivalent is required; Associates Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or a related field is a strong preference.
Ability to work under pressure and be a team player.
Strong attention to detail.
Strong leadership, organizational, written and oral communication skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Experience with SAP and/or ERP systems a plus.
Intermediate Excel experience is essential to success in this role.

Demonstrated planning skills and outstanding personal relationship skills.
The successful candidate takes ownership and creates solutions and enjoys working hands-on in a high-volume, fast-paced work environment.
Must demonstrate a positive attitude; communicate directly and honestly as demonstrated by previous work experience and performance.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
