Assistant Recruiter
Staffinders Inc. is currently accepting applications for a recruiting assistant for our Independence office. Candidates should have some college education, working experience in an office environment, organizational skills, experience multi-tasking, and the ability to ascend into a recruiter role. We're offering full time hours Monday through Friday, $10-$12/hr to start (pending experience/education), health benefits, retirement package, vacation, PTO, and growth opportunity. The ideal candidate must love meeting new people every day and be willing to face new challenges daily; this is not a normal boring office job!
Job Responsibilities/duties:
- Posting job ads
- Phone screening candidates for job openings
- Investigating employment backgrounds
- Investigating criminal backgrounds via internet
- Drug screening
- Data entry
- Checking professional references
- Setting up interviews for recruiting staff
- Any additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in an office or administrative setting
- Phenomenal personal skills, both in person and on the phone
- An associate's degree or post-secondary education preferred; high school diploma required
- Stable job history
